Magic: Legends was a massively multiplayer online (MMO) game that promised to blend elements from different genres into the world narrative of the game. Players would be able to collect spells as they travel through the world in their fight to save the Multiverse.
One of the bigger selling points of the game was the incorporation of cards from the developer's popular card game, Magic: The Gathering. Unfortunately, the game’s servers were shut down in 2021, and the game is no longer playable.

The game's story sees the player take control of an aspiring Planeswalker in the world of the Magic: The Gathering Multiverse. They will face ancient forces in the darkness and must walk the planes of the Magic Multiverse in their quest to acquire the power they need to fight evil.
Massively multiplayer
The game was set to be a massively multiplayer online game with a persistent world, similar to games like World of Warcraft and Guild Wars. Players would have been able to create a custom character and level that character up, finding new armor and weapons to improve their power and abilities.
A promising MMORPG that never was
Magic: Legends was a game that had a lot of players excited about its potential. Coming from an already popular developer, it had promised many things that players were eager to experience. Unfortunately, the development of the game was stopped, and the game's servers were shut down in 2021. As this was an MMORPG, the shutting down of the servers means the game is no longer playable.
